Data the app handles
- Profile: sex, age, height, weight, activity level and body measurements.
- Goals: goal phase, calorie adjustments, macro distribution and computed targets.
- Foods and plans: foods, brands, barcodes, nutrition values, plans, meal groups, daily logs, workouts, fasting and shopping lists.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored on your device with Apple's storage frameworks. If iCloud sync is enabled for the app on your device, it syncs through your private iCloud account, which we cannot access. We do not operate a backend that stores your nutrition records.
What leaves your device
- Open Food Facts: when you search or look up a barcode, your search text or barcode is sent to Open Food Facts.
- Apple Health: only with your permission, the app reads body weight and writes nutrition totals and weight when you choose to sync.
- Purchases: subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive your Apple Account credentials or payment details; purchase status only determines access in the app.
Permissions
- Camera: scan barcodes and nutrition labels.
- Health: read and write nutrition and body weight data.
- Bluetooth: print meal receipts on a thermal printer.
- Photos (add only): save workout summary images.
You can revoke any permission in iOS Settings.
Tracking
No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. We don't track you across apps or websites. This website uses no cookies or analytics.
Retention and deletion
Your data remains until you delete it. Delete records inside the app, or uninstall the app to remove local data. iCloud-synced data follows Apple's iCloud settings. Health data is managed in the Health app.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
Your rights
Because we don't collect your personal data, we hold nothing about you to access, correct or delete. Contact us with any privacy question.
Changes
We will update this page and its effective date before any change reaches the app.
